These Terms apply to the Barnstable & Cape Cod Painting Guide at www.barnstablepainting.com (the “Site”).
1. Who runs this Site
The Site is owned and operated by Hyannis Painting Inc., 136 Connemara Cir, Hyannis, MA 02601 (Massachusetts Registered Home Improvement Contractor #213983). By using the Site you agree to these Terms.
2. This Site is advertising and general information
The Site is published by a painting company that sells the services it describes. It is not an independent review site. Information about town rules, historic districts, lead paint and weather is general and educational. It is not legal, engineering, environmental or safety advice, and it does not replace the decision of a town board, building department or government agency. Rules change and every property is different. Confirm with the official source before you start any work.
3. Accuracy
We try to keep the Site accurate and we link the source of each public rule we mention. We do not guarantee that the information is complete or current. If you find an error, tell us at hyannishp@hotmail.com.
4. Estimates and contracts
Requesting an estimate through the Site does not create a contract. Any painting or carpentry work is governed only by a separate written contract signed by you and Hyannis Painting Inc., as required by Massachusetts law. Prices, schedules and availability are confirmed only in that written contract.
5. Maps
Maps on the Site are simplified from U.S. Census Bureau and U.S. Geological Survey data. They are approximate, are not surveys, and must not be used to decide property lines or whether a property is inside a historic district.
6. Links to other sites
The Site links to town, state and federal websites and to other sites. We do not control them and are not responsible for their content.
7. Content ownership
Text, photos, logos and design on the Site belong to Hyannis Painting Inc. or are used with permission, except public government material and content linked to its source. “Hyannis Painting” and its logo are names and marks of Hyannis Painting Inc. You may share links to the Site. Do not copy or reuse our photos or text for commercial purposes without our written permission. Reviews are quoted from Google and belong to their authors.
8. What you send us
When you submit a form or photos, you confirm that the information is yours to share and that you have the right to send the photos. You allow us to use them to prepare your estimate and do the work. We will not publish your photos, name or address without your written permission. Our Privacy Policy explains how we handle your information.
9. Limitation of liability
To the extent permitted by law, Hyannis Painting Inc. is not liable for decisions you make based only on the general information on this Site. Nothing in these Terms limits any right you have under Massachusetts consumer protection law.
10. Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the Commonwealth of Massachusetts.
11. Changes
We may update these Terms and will post the new version with a new effective date.
